A Buggy Day

It was a buggy kind of day. Some of those little things that hang around in the garden but are usually ignored. It made me look at things in a different way than usual.

It was indeed the dog days of summer. When the season had grown long and things were beginning to transition into autumn. The buzz of the cicadas were loud and filled the landscape.

It is butterfly season, and they are busy in the meadow. Butterflies have an odd beginning though. Looking like creatures from a distant planet.

Even small, they can wreak havoc in quick fashion like this caterpillar did. Eating the edge of a leaf in an organized fashion.

It’s amazing what you can find when you start paying attention to the little details in front of you.
