Vervet Monkeys

The Vervet Monkeys is a smaller monkey in Tanzania and a nice colony lives in the forest of Ngorongoro Crater. The parents interchange baby watch and have no problem handling a child that isn’t their own.

Such a wonderful community where mom’s help each other.

  1. Oh Emily these are such wonderful images! So touching 🙂 I can spot the “problem child” lol 😉 Had to laugh at the baby in the first one sticking it’s tongue out 😛 Thank you for sharing such intimate portraits of the family 🙂

        • I know that feeling!! I will take a break while we’re on holiday this year. There has to be a balance between actually living life, photographing life and sharing it! I spend a lot of time processing too and don’t like to feel rushed with that creative aspect. I have lots of friends who go on about all sorts of other social media platforms, marketing, selling, competitions etc etc, but I just don’t have the time if I’m still going to manage to do the work in the first place!

        • LOL ! You’re like me Sarah. I’d rather be out exploring and photographing. Minor editing time. Although tons of pics makes that hard. Marketing eeehhh..selling..nope. Contests…nope (waste of money) Social media – facebook is fun. 🙂 Good luck finding a balance. It’s not easy.
