The adventure to Maryland’s Eastern Shore brought more than just the plentiful ducks at Oakley Street in Cambridge, Maryland but also a lovely variety of ducks on the remote and quiet Hooper’s Island. Ducks that I usually find at Ocean City Inlet were enjoying the waters along the island. Black Scoters, Long-tailed ducks, Common Loons and Horned Grebes. It was a wonderful thing.
It’s not often that I get to see such a wide variety of ducks in such a short period of time. Also, it seems that the migration season is beginning and it’s going to be hard to pull myself away from the birds.
I’ll enjoy them as much as I can before I leave on a jet plane.
