Project 366 for 2016

As if I’m not busy enough with all the things I love to do. But it was time to challenge myself to continue on my journey in this beautiful thing called photography.

Two years ago, I embarked on what is known as a “Project 365.” The objective? To take a picture a day. This project was an excellent way for me to stretch my photography knowledge in all aspects. Getting out, composition, technical knowledge of my camera, and becoming proficient with Lightroom.

2014 was indeed a successful year, but now it’s time to “Kick it up a notch!” So I have embarked on new Project 365, with Leap Year giving me 366 glorious days to spend time with my camera and to discover even more.

I’ve been having fun this week as the temperatures have dropped and my new heated bird bath has become a popular attraction. As best as I can, I’m going to try for a bird a day for my Project 366. If you’d like to following my journey, click through to my Flickr page. or friend me on Facebook.

Wish me luck!

    • We really have too much time on my hands I think Rebecca. BTW, I chose not to sign up from the last invite. I think we have enough places to share our daily images without adding another. Thanks though for the thoughtfulness.

      • I am learning a great deal about how people relate to photography. There are many remarkable photographers; photography technology is in an exponential upswing; social media connects our world. But the question remains – what forms a connection. As Ansel Adams said many years ago, “There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.” I continue to learn more about photographer, but my main interest is the exploration of the human experience.
