Holiday Spirit

The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love and of generosity and of goodness. It illuminates the picture window of the soul, and we look out upon the world’s busy life and become more interested in people than in things.

    • You are more than generous with your compliment and I am so humbled by your kindness. Amazed that you actually like what I post which makes it even more special. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart and may you have a wonderful Christmas. Emily

    • Perpetua – I am so NOT that good. The table is at Winterthur estates which is a museum housed in the original home of the DuPonts. Yeah..big money. The house is stunning during the holidays and the only time they allow people to photograph the interior.

    • You are so kind Marylin, and thank you so much for your wonderful comment. There is so much in life that is easily missed when you’re busy. I hope to share those special moments with you. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

  1. Thanks for sharing that holiday message and pictures. Proof that these times are full of treasures even when we might think they’re just full of frustrations! Very nice. I hope you had a great Christmas. ;D

    • LOL ! Indeed, the holidays can certainly lead to lots of stress with way too many to-dos. It does, however, make me remember those in my life that help make it easier and fuller. Even including the mailman and trash men.

      • You’re absolutely right! I applaud and have to curtsy to those who keep all the “background” work going even when traffic is crazy, people are crazy, the to-do list is crazy, and probably even the weather is crazy.

Thanks for pointing that out. ๐Ÿ˜€
