Project 365/203 – Wonderland’s Tide Pools

Wonderland is a unique place to explore during low tide. Carefully walking on the slick and slippery boulders covered in seaweed peering into each new tide pool brings new discoveries.

On another note I discovered why I was having photo upload issues yesterday. Seems that after a year and a half of daily posts I’ve maxed out my 13 gig allotment. So I ended up having to purchase extended memory.

Now my laptop and WordPress don’t want to talk to each other tonight. Sigh, if its not one thing it’s another.

It’s advisable to look from the tide pool to the stars and then back to the tide pool again.

  1. Tide pools are such cool places! I wish that we had them around here, but sadly, we’re not that lucky. You’re photos make me want to go there, which is usually the case with your posts.

I reduce the quality of the photos I post, to preserve disk space on WordPress. I’ve been blogging for three years, and I still have 2/3 of my space left. Considering that some one recently accused me of “spamming” by posting so many photos, I guess that’s not too bad.

  2. Those pools have some unique biodiversity going on! I remember as a child playing in them in Hawaii. I learned about sea urchins and why you shouldn’t touch all of them! Who knew the cure was to pee on the wound. .. eaw, but it worked! Thanks for bringing back childhood memories! =-D

  3. You have some fantastic images here Emily, I love the one with all the little things that look like eyes, I couldn’t stop staring at it.
