Project 365/193 – Early Morning Over Northeast Harbor

An early morning rise to greet the morning overlooking Northeast Harbor. Well known for the classic antique wooden boats, outlandishly fancy Hinckley boats, and lobster boats, the harbor holds many treasures.

When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.

    • You would be amazed. All of these wooden boats brightwork is in perfect condition. I know what it takes to maintain something like this and it’s an annual job. You would love the antique boats here. Most of them are from the 1920-1940’s.

    • Thank you so much Leanne ! I had such amazing lighting that morning, as evidenced with the photos. Proves it’s worth a 4am wake up call. I’ve been using the 500mm lens to get close to the boats, and it is such a fantastic lens.
