“Don’t care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don’t give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.
That’s not the beginning of the end
That’s the return to yourself
The return to innocence.”

These two dolls came from my adopted Aunt who lived until she was 105 years old. A truly elegant lady that survived the Great Depression and lived through the era of industrialization. To think of the rapid change that has occurred the past 100 years. A time that began when only men were allowed to vote, to an era of social equality.
A time of the pony express that transferred information from one side of the country to the other that sometimes took weeks. The advent of instant information takes away the innocence from not only our children, but also ourselves.
And thus the return and frequent stays in nature, a return to the age of innocence.
