If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant:

if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.

    • I’m guessing it is a Witch Hazel tree. Longwood Gardens is world famous for their huge tree collection. I spent two hours in the Conservatory and quickly forgot that it was wintertime. When stepping out I literally had culture shock with the reality that it was cold.

  1. Thanks for letting me know, I just found 5 or so in there from you, as well as others. Sorry I didn’t check before now. All is well back here in the land of Oz… slowly coming back to reality πŸ™‚ How’s life in your world?

  2. Great shots, just love the first one… πŸ™‚

The quote is so right in my eyes – we humans need some changes during the year
otherwise we don’t enjoys the best part of it… πŸ˜‰

  3. Love both of the photographs – looks like the white caps can’t hold the colorful dangling hairs any longer! All my Spring time bulbs are sprouting with buds waiting to open – imagine that. Love that Spring is in the air.

  4. Your work is absolutely gorgeous! It’s nice that you informed us of what you have in your camera bag! There are so many things to see, but many times, I’m not too sure what to get. I guess it’s a matter of how much you use your camera. I have a huge fetish for cameras, especially Canon. They rock! Keep up the wonderful work!

    • Thank you so very much for stopping by and commenting Debby. When I see other photographers share their tricks and toys, it helps me a lot to know which way to head. I have four sets of film cameras that I really should start playing with. Perhaps one day, but in the meantime, I’m in love with my Canon DSLR ! Hope to see you back soon! Bella
